<p>A device for depositing a bead of material including a bead-depositing nozzle. The nozzle includes a first nozzle part (5) having a passageway and a second nozzle part (6) having a passageway. The first nozzle part is connected to the second nozzle part so that, in use, material passes, in a direction along a first axis, into an inlet end of the first nozzle part, then through the passageways of the first and second nozzle parts and then, in a direction along a second axis, out of an outlet end of the second nozzle part. One of the nozzle parts has a ball-shaped end with an exterior surface (12) that is generally ball-shaped, and the other of the nozzle parts has a socket-shaped end, with an interior surface (16) so shaped and arranged that the ball-shaped end is accommodated therein. Thus the angle of inclination of the second axis relative to the first axis is alterable.</p> |
