<p>A new method and compositions for the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension are described. The method is based on the usage of EP1 prostanoid receptor agonists which effectively reduce the intraocular pressure but have no, or reduced effect on iris pigmentation. The prostaglandin analogue which is an EP1 selective agonist is applied topically on the eye.</p> |
