The laminate or coating consists of paper impregnated with thermosetting condensation resins with at least one continuous compression belt (2). At least one pressure body extends over the area of a reaction zone and belongs to the operating stringer of the pressure belt. A film of gaseous medium for reducing friction is between the pressure body in which are holes, and the pressure belt. A pressure suction body (5) has a suction arrangement for the gaseous pressure medium. The chamber containing the pressure medium is sealed against the atmosphere by sucking the pressure belt against the plate-shaped pressure suction body.
