Equalising circuit for control of power consumer appliances coupled to DC supply

The circuit equalises consumer appliances in a car board network which use pulsed operation. The appliances are electrically controlled (St) and an equalising capacitor (C) is coupled on one hand to the positive pole of the DC supply, and on the other hand to the source terminal of a FET (Tr1) with a freewheeling diode. The FET drain terminal is linked to the negative pole of the DC supply and the FET source terminal is coupled to its gate terminal via a discharge resistor. The gate terminal is also coupled to the positive pole of the DC supply. The discharge resistor may be of ohmic type, or a diode operated in blocking direction.
