A portion of food consists of a base layer baked using dough as bread to which one or more layers of food are added. The novelty is that: (a) a layer of mashed potato is added to the base layer bearing a further layer of edible material; (b) the further layer of edible material is meat, fish, fruit, vegetable, mushroom, salads, cheese, egg, or a combination of these. Also claimed is a preparation process.
