Syringe needle disposal unit

An arrangement for the disposal of syringe needles used on humans or animals, comprises an inlet opening (1) for the needle, which consists of rubber, pulling rollers (2) an electron beam (3) and a collection container (4). The needle is pushed into the opening up to the syringe body and then the rollers pull the needle into the disposal unit where it is melted by the arc or electric beam. Melt residue is collected in the container. The rollers are pref. driven by electric motors.
