Water filter flushing into ground

Flushing water is pumped at high pressure along line (7) to the pressurised head (1) at the base of the filter and distributed over number of jets (3) whence it emerges at high pressure and velocity so as to break up the immediate ground and flush this to the sides. The breaking up of the ground is assisted by tipped profiles (2), placing the filter at the required depth as a result. Line (7) remains in the ground after flushing but is closed off at the top end. In a variant, the line is remotely uncoupled after the flushing job and recovered. The line can also be used after flushing to import powerfully acid water serving to de-ice the water product. The line can also be used to bring in air or oxygen for de-icing purposes. The equipment should include threaded connection (5) from head (1) to line (7) and line connection (11), with the line led parallel to suction line (9) up to the surface and connected here to a high pressure pump. The head is assisted by water jets (3) and tip profiles (2) and is firmly joined to the filter itself (6). The feed line (7) lies within the eventual suction line and is joined to the connection (10). Jets and line should be rated for operating pressure, volume and temperature and a rotary high pressure muck cutter is fitted to underside of the pressure head.
