The device (1) for monitoring the air quality has a sensor arrangement (2) with at least one sensor (21-26) for measuring at least one chemical gas or a gas mixture which plays an influential part in perception of air quality comfort. The device further comprises a computer (3), an electronic clock (4), a memory (5) and indicating arrangements (6), by means of which (3-5) it is possible to indicate current measured values and ones which have been measured with the sensor arrangement (2) within a given past period of time at given intervals.
