Automatic door or window system

The system has at least one leaf of a door or window, and a fixed runner in which the leaf is guided by a roller-trolley mechanism. An electric drive motor (10) is supplied with a current via a bus-bar, which may also supply auxiliary equipment. The bus-bar is arranged parallel to the runner near to the rollers of the trolley mechanism. The drive motor and auxiliary equipment may be attached to the leaf of the door or window, the power supply device being fixed, or vice-versa. Power is supplied by a roller or sliding contact and/or an induction coil.
