Injection mould temp sensor

The temperature sensor, for an injection moulding mould, has a cylindrical body (10). A window (14), of a material transparent to IR rays, is flush within a recess (12) at the end surface of the cylindrical body (10). An IR monitor (18) is within a deeper recess (18), near the window (14), and an absolute temperature meter (20) is near the infra red monitor (18). A connection cable (24) is at the other end surface of the body (10).
