摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of an entire joint and to improve the reliability of connection between main body and a pipe by forming the main body and an attaching part for constituting the case of a quick joint by using specified thermoplastic synthetic resin materials and connecting these in proper places by welding or weld-caulking. SOLUTION: A main body 1 and an attaching part 2 are made of thermoplastic synthetic resins used up to about 120 to 200 deg.C of a UL long heat resistant temperature, e.g. polyether imido or polyether sulfon. The attaching part 2 is fitted in the main body 1, and parts denoted by codes K and M are welded by heat to be connected. In this case, the welded members K and M are selected in positions where a pipe grasping member is prevented from being changed by heat influence during heating. Chucks loaded as grasping members in the main body 1 and the attaching part 2 are preferably made of synthetic resins, having physical properties allowing continuous use at M100 or higher by Rockwell hardness D785 test and at a heat resistant temperature of 170 deg.C.
