Absorption and reflection spectroscopy method

The spectroscopy method involves using radiation of given wavelength fed to a multiple reflection device. Transmitted radiation coupled to the measuring volume (2) are measured via a photodetector associated with a semi-reflective mirror. Diffuse reflected radiation are measured via a photodetector supported by the mirror and facing in the direction of the measuring volume. The absorption is determined from the reciprocal of the transmitted radiation. The dispersion and fluorescence is determined from the diffuse reflection and the transmitted radiation and the refraction is determined from the reflected and transmitted radiation.
