Axle aggregate for load carrying motor vehicle

The axle aggregate has at least two tandem wheel sets (3,6,11) so that each wheel in a set is mounted on the same bogies (5-9). The guidance of the common axles over their front ends is provided by longitudinal links (12,13,16) at their front ends. The first wheel set carries one wheel and the following set or sets carry a whole number multiple of this. The axle shafts (9) in the first wheel set extend through opposing vehicle sides. A longitudinal link is rigidly connected to each end of the axle shaft.
