Sheet-pile with outside hook strips for sheet-pile walling

A ram blade tool (4) at the bottom of the sheet-pile (1) is to be driven into the ground and lies in the line of the pile arranged on the same side as a hook strip (2). A profile strip on the far side of the tool from the hook extends right along the sheet-pile (1) and is profiled to partly surround the ram tool so leaving a free space between tool and pile during the ramming operation. On the hook side of the pile (1), the hook strip is adjoined by a U-profiled strip (6) whose opening lies on the same side of the pile as the tool (4). Strip (5) is also in hook form, the two hook strips arranged so their mutually engaged hooks lie within the U-profile strip (6). The hook strip (5) is designed to ensure that any two engaged sheet-piles lie in the profile strip of the preceding pile. The strip (6) bears on the front face of the ram blade tool (4) during ramming.
