Sound absorber for use e.g. in motor vehicles

A sound absorber (2) consists of tubular elements (1) with longitudinal axes (a) which are angled to or cross over each other.The elements are pref. held together in a loose format, pref in a holding sack. The elements are pref. arranged into a self supporting unit. Use - The arrangement is used as a sound absorber, eg in motor vehicles. Advantage - The sound absorber is simple to produce and has good sound absorption characteristics.
