METHOD OF TREATMENT AND PROPHYLAXIS OF SMALL DOMESTIC ANIMALS AND FUR WILD BEASTS WITH DAMAGED STATE OF SKIN-HAIR SHEATH

FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of blue-green algae (Cyanophyceae) dried biomass - spirulina (Spirulina platensis (Nordst) Geitl) that is given for curative aim orally with diet at dose 20-250 mg per a head, once per a day for 4-9 weeks. For prophylaxis aim biomass is given to domestic animals (cats, dogs) at the same dose for 2-3 weeks and to wild beasts at dose 15-45 mg/kg feed during growth period. Method is used for treatment and prophylaxis of animals with damaged state of skin-hair sheath, growth retention, hair fragility, alopecia and erythema- -erythematous skin damages in domestic animals and wild beasts.
