<p>PURPOSE:To use two kinds of tape cassettes having their positioning holes in different positions by providing a movable positioning pin to the recording and reproducing device capable of loading the two kinds of tape cassettes having their different positions for their positioning holes into which the positioning pin is inserted. CONSTITUTION:A worm wheel 71 is rotated by rotating a motor 72, and since the position of a connecting pin 75 is moved, a link 74 is moved, and a rack body 67 is moved right and left. Consequently, pinion gears 60 and 61 to be meshed with rack teeth 70 and 70' of the rack body 67 are rotated, and supporting arms 63 and 64 are rotated so that the positioning pins 65 and 66 provided to their turning end part are moved. Then, the pin 65 is inserted into the positioning hole 9, and the pin 66 into the positioning hole 10, whereas the positions of the pins 65 and 66 as shown by a two-dot chain line are situated in a position for a new type tape cassette 12, and under this condition, the positioning pin 65 is inserted into the positioning hole 24, and the pin 66 into the positioning hole 25. Thus, by moving the positioning pins, the two kinds of tape cassettes having different positions of their positioning holes can be loaded.</p> |
