<p>Device for applying a label (8) onto a bottle (2) or a similar object by winding up. The device comprises a supply conveyor (1) for supplying objects to at least one rotatable screw (3) arranged horizontally over the supply conveyor, for accomodating an object in the lead. On a vacuum drum (6) rotatable around a vertical axis, a label (8) to be applied to an object can be situated. At the vacuum drum there are conveyor belts (4, 9) at both sides of the object, for rotating the object during application of the label. The screw (13) ends at some distance before the plane being square to it extending through the axis of the vacuum drum (6). The conveyor belt (4), being situated near the vacuum drum (6), is coupled to it and extends and moves against the linear direction of movement (V) of the objects (2). <IMAGE></p> |
