PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet manufactured by a conventional manufacturing method and having excellent color developing density, clarity and various fastness in a method for thermal transfer recording using a sublimable dye. SOLUTION: A dye receptive layer mainly contains at least one type of thermoplastic resin having Tg of 60 deg.C or higher, and crosslinked rubber fine particles having a primary particle size finely dispersed in the resin of 0.2 μm or less and Tg of -100 to 20 deg.C. The fine particle has excellent dye diffusivity to obtain recording of high density, excellent plasticizer resistance, fingerprint resistance and can improve light resistance by optimizing monomer composition.
