PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a recording and an erasing of a clear image by a low energy by providing a reversible heat-sensitive recording layer having a volume resistivity at a specified value or lower, on a supporting body. SOLUTION: On a supporting body 1, a reversible heat-sensitive recording layer 2 of which the volume resistivity value is 5×10<10> Ωcm or lower is formed. The reversible heat-sensitive recording layer 2 is constituted of a reversible heat-sensitive material and a conductive material. By this method, a voltage can be directly applied to the recording layer 2, and the heating efficiency of the recording layer 2 is high, and a sharp image can be recorded. Also, when a recording is erased, the erasing is performed by flowing current to a range which is wider than the recorded area. Thus, by making the volume resistivity value of the reversible heat-sensitive recording layer 2, 5×10<10> Ωcm or lower, and containing, a conductive compound, the recording and the erasing can be performed by an applying of a low voltage, and a recording, a storage and an erasing can be performed at a low cost, and by a low energy, at a high speed. |
