PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steric image forming recording material having strong mechanical strength and steric gradability and a method for forming a steric image using the material and to further provide a method for forming a steric image by taking into account a color expression in the gradability. SOLUTION: In the steric image forming recording material comprising a steric image forming layer containing foamable capsule, the layer contains polyvinylpyrrolidone having a mean molecular weight of 20,000 to 1,000,000. Further, the layer contains specific latex. And, after shell wall resin of the capsule is coated or printed with plasticizer, the capsule is heated to be foamed. And, the plasticizer is mixed with coloring agent or particularly water soluble dye or water dispersible pigment. And, the plasticizer is mixed with coloring agent or particularly with water soluble dye or water dispersible pigment. And, coating or printing of the plasticizer is executed by an ink jet recording type. The steric image forming medium formed with the image by using these methods for forming the image is provided. |
