BLOOD SPECIMEN SAMPLER HAVING ADJUSTABLE END CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cover the body of a blood specimen sampler with an end cap without twisting it by a method wherein the end cap is made rotatable with respect to a housing between a plurality of different angle positions while being made slidable to a fastening position from an isolating position parallel with the direction of puncturing. SOLUTION: An end cap 60 is moved horizontally toward a main housing 12a until a stopper member contacts a left end part of a slant slot and then, rotated until one of position marks on the end cap 60 aligns with one of reference marks on the main housing 12a to adjust the depth of a punctured wound. The end cap 60 is twisted to keep the stopper member in contact with a relatively shallow part of the slant slot in the end cap 60 so that the stopper member allows the end cap 60 to separate from the main housing part 12a.
