PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plaster base fabric being thin and soft, excellent in wear resistance, slight in oozing of a tacky material, having elasticity, hardly being steamed. SOLUTION: This plaster base fabric for medical application (i) comprises an elastic nonwoven fabric constituted of randomly arranged elastic short fibers having 0.1-20 μm average diameter composed of an elastomer, (ii) the elastic short fibers are mutually fused at least at one position and (iii) the elastic nonwoven fabric has 0.02-1 mm thickness, >=500 g/m<2> .24 hr moisture permeability and <=90 cc/cm<2> /sec air permeability. |
