PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain the subject paste providing smooth feeling to the tongue, fine feeling and rough feeling, and having perfume and flavor hardly causing grassy-smelling, confinement odors, etc., by previously heating corn grains of a raw material, skinning the corn grains and forming the grains into a paste. SOLUTION: Pericarpits of corn grains of the raw material is previously peeled off and the pasting processing of the peeled corn is carried out in mass- production of a corn paste by a batch production or a continuous production. The exfoliation and removal of the pericarps is readily carried out by carrying out the rotation, etc., of the corn grains boiled or heated by steam on a metal mesh to remove the pericarps in the method for exfoliating the pericarps of the corn grains. As the result, the corn paste excellent in texture, having no strange flavor, and good in corn flavor is offered in the method for producing the corn paste. |
