PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthetically obtain the subject substance having a Ras protein inhibiting activity as to its function and synthesization and showing an anticancer activity by composing it of a mixture comprising equally a specific aglaiastatin and its enantiomer. SOLUTION: This objective substance is obtained by composing it of a mixture comprising equally an aglaiastatin of formula I (Me is a methyl) and its enantiomer, viz., 6S, 5aS, 11bR, 12aR-enantiomer of an aglaiastatin of formula II. The other objective method comprises; reacting a compound of formula IV obtained from a compound of formula III as a starting material with an inorganic or organic acid or its ammonium salt so as to produce a compound of formula V, subjecting the compound of formula V taken out from the reaction liquid to chromatography, and separating the mixture comprising equally the compound of formula I and compound of formula II therefrom. |
