<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily control the temperature of a coke oven gas by making coke gas flow to the tube side of a multitubular heat exchanger and making cooking water flow to the shell side. SOLUTION: Coke oven gas used as a raw material gas by pressure swing absorption method is made to flow to tube side of a multitubular heat exchanger and cooling water is made to flow to the shell side of the multitubular heat exchanger and further, the coke oven gas and the cooling water are made to flow in parallel and the coke oven gas is cooled to a prescribed absorption temperature. The temperature of the coke oven gas on the outlet side of the multitubular heat exchanger is measured and water amount of cooling water on the inlet side is controlled by the temperature. As a result, the temperature of coke oven gas on the outlet side is controlled to definite temperature. Thereby, deposition of naphthalene, etc., in the coke oven gas to the interior of the heat exchanger is prevented and it is made possible to eliminate blockage problem.</p> |
