<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus without the fear of breaking an LD(laser diode) when a light amount is adjusted. SOLUTION: This image-forming apparatus has a DAC (D/A converter) 31 where a rated change value is input to a signal-processing part, a first comparison part 32 comparing an output of the DAC31 with an output of a DAC 18a set in a write control part 18, and a second comparison part 33 comparing an output of the DAC 31 with a set value input from a volume switch VS. An output without the fear of breaking an LD 20 is guided to an LD modification part 19 after the comparison at the first or second comparison part 31 or 33.</p> |
