PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease impression cylinders by a construction wherein the impression cylinder constituting a rear side printing unit on the paper feeding side is connected with the impression cylinder constituting a surface side printing unit, while the impression cylinder constituting the rear side unit on the delivery side is connected with the impression cylinder constituting the surface side unit, and each of the impression cylinders of the surface side printing units are connected further with a transfer cylinder. SOLUTION: In surface and rear four-color printing, a sheet P is carried to a feeding cylinder 14 through the intermediary of a feeding plate 13 and, being gripped by grippers, it is carried to an impression cylinder 26A connected with the feeding cylinder. The rear side of the sheet P carried to the impression cylinder 26A is subjected to two-color printing by blanket cylinders 31 connected with the impression cylinder 26A. When the rear side is printed in two colors, the sheet P passes along the lower part of the impression cylinder 26A and is gripped afresh by an impression cylinder 27A. It passes along the upper part of the impression cylinder 27A and the surface side thereof is subjected to the two-color printing by blanket cylinders 32 connected with the impression cylinder 27A. Next, the sheet P is gripped afresh by a transfer cylinder 28, goes via the lower part of the transfer cylinder 28 and is gripped by an impression cylinder 27B. The surface and rear sides of the sheet are subjected further to the two-color printing at impression cylinders 27B and 26B in the same way as the above. |
