PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently move heat from a heater chip and cool ink by arranging a cooling cell, etc., that acts on a flow of ink towards the heater chip thereby cooling the ink and receiving a current from a printer energy feed circuit as a function of the flow to the heater chip. SOLUTION: A layer 60 of thermally conductive material is placed between a container 22 and a heater chip 50 to be in direct touch with the heater chip 50. The layer 60 extends between inner and outer parts 22a, 22b of the substantially L-shaped container 22 formed of insulating polymer. The conductive layer 60 provides a path for energy when heat running from the heater chip 50 to a cooling cell 70 is formed. The cooling cell 70 moves the heat from the conductive layer 60 to a heat sink 80 and scatters the energy into the outside air exposed at a second face 80b of the heat sink 80. When a part 80c of the heat sink 80 comes in touch with an ink 23, the heat is directly moved from the heat sink 80 to the ink 23. |
