PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide d heat-sensitive recording material which has a high sensitivity, and is excellent in preservation property of an image part, and also, wherein a base fogging due to heat and moisture is reduced by containing a compound represented by specified formulas as a developing compound. SOLUTION: For a heat-sensitive coloring layer, a coloring compound and a developing compound represented by a formula I and a formula II, are made major components and a binding agent, and a filler agent, a thermoplastic compound a lubricant and an interfacial active agent, etc., are used when necessary for the preparation of the heat-sensitive coloring layer (in the formula II, R represents a methyl group or an ethyl group.). Also, for the developing compound, a weight part mixture wherein the mixing rate of the compound of the formula I: the compound of the formula II is 1:2-10:1, preferably 1:1-5:1, is used by a rate of 1-10 pts.wt., preferably 2-5 pts.wt., based on 1 pt.wt. of the coloring compound. This heat-sensitive recording material contains the developing compound represented by the formula I and the formula II in the heat-sensitive coloring layer, is excellent in coloring property, and also, has less base fogging due to heat, and is excellent in preservation property such as a plasticizer resistance, and an oil resistance. |
