PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slurry supply structure for a wire saw in which a wire can cut a workpiece uniformly on a new wire supply side and a new wire outlet side. SOLUTION: Slurry supply nozzles 18 are arranged more on the new wire outlet side B than on the new wire inlet side A to supply more slurry to wire rows 16B in the new wire outlet side B than to wire rows 16A on the new wire inlet side A. Since the wires are turned repeatedly in the F direction and in the R direction and advance in the F direction as a whole, slurry is adhered more to the wires 16B than to wires 16A and is taken into the cut plane of the workpiece W. Therefore, as a whole, the equal amount of slurry is supplied to the cut plane of the workpiece W and the workpiece W can be uniformly cut. |
