PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human detecting unit for a mud scraper mat which easily constitutes a mud scraping mat provided with a human body detecting sensor by attaching it to a mad base. SOLUTION: A frame body 11 is provided with a sensor part 12 and an abutment part 13 provided along the outside face of a mat base, and a lock part 14 provided in the bottom end of the abutment part 13 is engaged with the rear face of the mat base so as to prevent a human body detecting unit 10 from being fallen out. The sensor part 12 is provided with an infrared ray receiver 17 and infrared ray generators 15, 16 positioned as sandwiching the light receiver 17. The infrared ray generators 15, 16 irradiate the infrared rays of different frequencies to different-directional detecting areas respectively. The light receiver 15, 16 detects a human body by the reflecting light from each detecting area. |
