PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method increasing the small paste holding force in the plate assembled with a continuous casting grid body. SOLUTION: The continuous casting grid body 1A is passed through between the roll 8 forming a projecting part and a cylindrical roll 9 to press the area (longitudinal dimension H1, lateral dimension W1) of the inside skeleton part in the grid body 1A. The inside skeleton 4A of the continuous casting grid body 1A is moved to the central part of the grid body with this working, successively paste 5 is filled from the upper side of the grid body, whereby the inside skeleton 4 is completely covered with paste 5. Accordingly, the combining power between mutual paste is increased, the contacting area between the inside skeleton and paste is increased and then the active material holding power of the plate is increased.
