<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide spherical or capsulate-like three-dimensional hollow structure bodies, prevent the structure bodies from being intertwisted, evenly immobilize microorganism in any direction in which polluted water flows, and improve the purification efficiency for polluted water by combining the bodies with string-like contact oxidation materials. SOLUTION: A plurality of thermoplastic material extruded into string-like shapes are formed into cylindrical shape to give a water permeable pipe having voids, prescribed parts of the water permeable pipe are locally heated, and the heated parts of the water permeable pipe are squeezed to partitioning parts 30 with the maximum diameter of a pair of rolls 14 to deform the water permeable pipe. Consequently, the parts responding to the partitioning parts 30 are closed to give spherical contact oxidation materials 50a. In this case, by inserting a string-like contact oxidation material into the inner space of the water permeable pipe, the contact oxidation materials 50a in which the string- like contact oxidation material is bridged in the closed parts are obtained.</p> |
