LOCK AND LOCKING DEVICE FOR CLOSING DEVICE OF THRUST INVERSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock and a locking device for a closing device of a thrust inversion device for an airplane. SOLUTION: In this type of a device 30, locking of a closing device is completed by energy supplied from a motor 38. As a result, a latch 22 of a lock 21 is driven so as to release a jack which operates the closing device 12. Such a device also has a stopper 31 faced to the latch of the lock 21. The closing device 12 is thus fixed at its close position. The stopper 31 thus cooperates with a counter stopper 34 so as to reduce vibration and oscillation caused by the closing device 12.
