PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat resistance, flowability, and mechanical characteristics such as weld strength and rigidity by blending a specified thermotropic liquid-crystal polyester, a (rubber-modified) thermoplastic resin and a functional polymer. SOLUTION: A thermotropic liquid-crystal polyester having an apparent viscosity (at 280 deg.C under a rate of shear of 1,000 sec<-1> ) of at most 5,000 P, preferably 10-3,000 P, in an amount of 95-4 wt.%, preferably 70-4 wt.%, is blended with a (rubber-modified) thermoplastic resin obtained by polymerizing at least one vinyl monomer selected from an aromatic vinyl compound, a vinyl cyanide compound and a (meth)acrylic ester in the presence (absence) of a rubbery polymer, in an amount of 4-95 wt.%, preferably 30-95 wt.%, and a functional polymer obtained by reacting unsaturated compounds having at least one kind of functional group selected from hydroxyl, carboxyl and epoxy groups and, if necessary, copolymerizable other vinyl monomer, in an amount of 1-92 wt.%, preferably 1-65 wt.%. |
