PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an imaging residue from a plate by a method wherein a washing liquid contains a washing condensed substance as a component other than water, and the washing condensed substance contains an anion interfacial active agent of a weight ratio of a specified range, and also, contains a nonionic interfacial active agent of a weight ratio of a specified range. SOLUTION: A washing of a plate 9 having a non-printing layer of a silicon base, for which an imaging has been applied, is performed by a method wherein a specified pressing force is applied to the surface of the plate 9 to be washed with a washing member 8, and a relative movement is performed between the plate 9 and the washing member 8, and a washing liquid 13 is coated on the surface of the plate 9. In this case, the washing liquid 13 which contains a washing condensed substance as a component other than water, is used, and as the washing condensed substance, a substance containing 1-30 wt.%, preferably 20-30 wt.% of an anion interfacial active agent, and 1-30 wt.%, preferably 20-30 wt.% of a nonionic interfacial active agent, is used. By this washing liquid, a best washing effect can be obtained, and a thorough washing of the plate becomes possible. |
