PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject treatment agent capable of reducing the scum adherence to guides and of improving the operability, by colloidally dispersing each specific higher fatty acid magnesium salt in silicone mixture in specified proportions. SOLUTION: This treatment agent comprises a dispersion prepared by colloidally dispersing 1-10 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the silicone oil, of a higher fatty acid magnesium salt of formula II (R<2> and R<3> are each a 11-21C alkyl) in a mixture composed of a silicone oil as dispersion medium 5×10<-6> to 50×10<-6> m<2> /s in viscosity at 25 deg.C, an amino-modified silicone as dispersant of formula I [X<1> to X<3> are each methyl or a group of the formula R<4> -(NH-R<5> )d - NH2 (R<4> and R<5> are each a 2-5C alkylene; (d) is 0 or 1); R<1> is a 2-5C alkyl or phenyl; (a) is 25-400; (b) is 0-200; (a+b) is 25-400; (c) is 0-10], and an organic carboxylic acid such as 4-22C mono- to tetravalent organic carboxylic acid (mixture) (the melting point being pref. 50-220 deg.C) in weight ratios: the silicone oil/(modified silicone oil + organic carboxylic acid) of (100:0.5) to (100:5) and the modified silicone oil/organic carboxylic acid of (100:100) to (100:2).
