PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition improved in creep strength at high temperatures by mixing a polypropylene resin with a polyphenylene ether resin and a hydrogenated block copolymer in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This composition contains 45-95 wt.% polypropylene resin, 55-5 wt.% polyphenylene ether resin such as poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene ether) and 1-30 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. total resin component, hydrogenated block copolymer. In the composition, the polypropylene resin constitutes the continuous phase, the polyphenylene ether resin and the hydrogenated block copolymer constitute the disperse phase, and at least 70% of the disperse phase is in the form of particles having a circle-equivalent mean particle diameter in the range of 0.02-2.0μm. The hydrogenated block copolymer is a product obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer composed of a polystyrene block having an iodine value of 40 or below and a number-average molecular weight of 15,000 or above and a polyisoprene block having a total content of 1,2-vinyl bonds and 3,4-vinyl bonds of 45% or above. |
