<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items and miniaturize a control device. SOLUTION: A cylindrical camshaft 4 and a sleeve 9 which are divided per air cylinder are respectively rotatably arranged on the periphery of a control shaft 1. A first flange part 5 and a second flange part 10 of both camshaft 4 and sleeve 9 are interlocked with each other through an annular disc 11 by engaging grooves 15, 16 and pins 17, 18. The rotation of a driving shaft 2 rotated in synchronism with the rotation of an engine is transmitted to each sleeve 9 through gear parts 21, 22. The camshaft 4 is rotated at an unequal speed according to the eccentric position of the annular disc 11, and valve lift characteristic is changed. The control shaft 1 is rotated by a hydraulic actuator 19, and the annular disc 11 is eccentrically operated by an eccentric cam 8.</p> |
