PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the characteristic of the solid electrolyte capacitor is adversely affected when the forming density is increased by adding the tantalum powder for the solid electrolyte capacitor. SOLUTION: 2-5 wt.% aggregate powder of 40-200μm in powder grain size is added to raw powder (High CV powder) of >=40,000μF/g in powder CV as the tantalum powder to be used in an anode body of a solid electrolyte capacitor. The grain size distribution of the powder is regulated by adding aggregate powder of 40-200μm to High CV powder, and relatively large secondary grains are increased in number. The joining force (the anchor effect) of the powder with each other during the forming can be increased, and the strength of the formed body can be increased. When the strength of the formed body is constant, forming can be achieved with the reduced density of the formed body, and the electric characteristics (CV tanδ) can be improved.
