PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct switching between normal and reversal rotation without moving a cam shaft by forming normal and reversal rotation cams on the same circumferences on both sides of a base circle in a fuel cam, connecting a space between the cams through the concentric circle of a maximum cam lift, and controlling a filler opening and closing valve, synchronizing with injection timing. SOLUTION: When a command signal of reversing operation is generated from a normal/reversal operation change-over switch, such a control signal as to open a filler opening and closing valve 19 at a cam angle of optimum opening and closing timing is outputted based on the optimum opening and closing timing of the filler opening and closing valve 19 set at a reference opening and closing timing setting part, and a detected crank angle, that is, a cam angle. A fuel cam 1 is formed, on the opposite side of a base circle 1c, by connecting a space between cams 1a, 1b through the concentric circle of a maximum cam lift, therefore, a significant lag occurs in injection timing at the time of normal and reversal operation. At the time of lift starting of the reversal operation cam 1b, or the rising start of a plunger 15, fuel injection is conducted by closing an oil supply and discharge hole 16 with the filler opening and closing valve 19. |
