PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cue ink color of even number color in the case of using a transfer sheet having a cueing detecting mark only at odd number color of a plurality of ink colors. SOLUTION: The transfer sheet B applied to a thermal transfer printer, wound on a supply reel 2 and take-up reel 3 in the state that a base film surface is sequentially repeatedly coated with a plurality of ink colors in a lengthwise direction, provided with cueing detecting marks 1m1 , 1m3 substantially at head position of odd number color of the plurality of the colors to cue the odd number color at a position of the cueing detecting mark. Meanwhile, in the case of rotating the reel 3 for substantially predetermined time at substantially the same rotational speed to cue the ink color of the even number color, a winding length TL from the odd number color printing finishing position to next even number color cueing position is gradually increased substantially corresponding to a winding diameter upon increasing of the winding diameter of the reel 3. |
