PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method satisfactorily coloring a colored intraocular lens. SOLUTION: The spectral transmission characteristic of the colored intraocular lens is measured, this spectral transmission characteristic is transformed to a chromaticity coordinate on a chromaticity graphic, an area defined by a standard light source on the chromaticity graphic and each straight line combining main wavelengths 570 and 575 nm is set to be a reference area to judge whether the obtained chromaticity coordinate is in the reference area or the allowable range of stimulation purity is made 15 to 30% to judge whether or not it is within the range. Then, when the condition of them is satisfied, a color candidate is judged to be suited but when it is not, the color candidate is not judged to be suited. |
