PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which has excellent workability as it does not cling to a kneader for a co-crosslinking agent and the dispersibility of the co-crosslinking agent into the rubber composition is very good and which has unvarying appropriate ball hardness and excellent resiliency. SOLUTION: A golf ball is compounded a vulcanized molding of a rubber composition as a constituent, with the rubber composition being blended with a zinc acrylate/higher fatty acid zinc mixture serving as a co-crosslinking agent obtained when zinc oxide is dispersed in an organic solvent in the presence of an anionic surfactant and an acrylic acid and a higher fatty acid with 12 to 30 carbons are recanted with the zinc oxide in the organic solvent.
