PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a penetrating development photosensitive lithographic printing plate having excellent plate wear, sensitivity and image reproducibility. SOLUTION: A lipophilic photosensitive layer 1A containing a compound having at least one addition polymerizable ethylenic double bond and a photopolymerization initiator is provided on a hydrophilized support 1. In this case, gum tape peel strength of the support 1 is 500 g/cm or less. The method for forming the penetrating development photosensitive lithographic printing plate comprises the steps of exposing an image of the plate, then penetrating the layer after the image is exposed with penetrant for penetrating to an unexposed photosensitive layer to lower adhesive properties of the layer 1A to a surface of the support 1, adding physical stimulus, and removing the unexposed part of the layer in which the properties are lowered by the penetrant from the support 1 to form a photosensitive image. |
