<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the collision impact of a driver's head part by a hub when a vehicle is collided by providing a soft hub cover on an upper surface of an upper plate fixed to a U-shaped back plate which is connected to the center of a plurality of spokes of a wheellike rim and fixed to a spoke of a wheel having a box-shaped under plate whose upper surface is opened. SOLUTION: When a vehicle is collided, and a driver is collided with a steering wheel, the contact surface between the driver and the steering wheel is expanded through the deformation of a hub cover 400 with which the head part of the driver is brought into contact, and the impact is primarily dispersed. When the collision is hard, and the impact is applied to an upper plate 300 while the hub cover 400 is deformed, the upper plate 300 a absorbs the impact while the upper plate is caved in and deformed in an evacuation port 220. The absorption ratio of the impact load to be generated during the collision of the vehicle is regulated by the thickness of a first vertical part 320 and a horizontal part 340 of the upper plate 300 and the number and size of a plurality of holes 325, 345. Even when the driver is collided with the steering wheel in the collision accident, the impact is buffered, and the damages can be reduced.</p> |
