PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throating structure that covers appropriately the lower end of dry-wall materials used as interior and exterior materials. SOLUTION: A throating A formed of a fixing part 1 in a vertically planate shape, a bottom 3 made up by bending inwardly the lower end of the fixing part 1, draining holes 4 provided at fixed intervals at the bottom 3, a cover piece 5 made up by bending inwardly the front end of the bottom 3 approximately in parallel with the fixing part 1, a side cover piece 6 made up by bending inwardly the front end of the cover piece 5 and a lower cover piece 7 made up by projecting downward the lower end of the cover piece 5 is fixed horizontally to a wall groundworkα. Then, a dry-wall material B is inserted into a space surrounded by the fixing part 1, the bottom 3 and the cover piece 5.
