PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which can be printed by printing with laser beams, especially YAG lasers to give prints not suffering from deterioration and browning and having good contrast by mixing a thermoplastic styrene resin having a specified or higher transmittance to light at a specified wavelength with an energy absorber which absorbs laser beams at the same wavelength. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin having a transmittance to light at a wavelength of 1.06μm of 60% or above and being desirably a mixture of copolymer essentially consisting of styrene and acrylonitride with polymethacrylic acid and polybutadiene, a mixture of a copolymer essentially consisting of styrene and an acrylic ester with an SB block copolymer or a mixture of a copolymer essentially consisting of styrene, a methacrylic ester and an acrylic ester with polybutadiene with 0.05-2.0 pts.wt. energy absorber being at least one member desirably selected among carbon, a metal oxide and a processed mica.
