PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate and recover catalytic components from a carbonylation reaction product. SOLUTION: The carbonylation reaction product containing the catalyst consisting of a group VIII metal source A in periodic Table such as a platinum compound and an organic phosphorus such as triphenyl phosphine, arsenic or an antimony compound B is extracted by at least one kind of a solvent D selected from an aliphatic hydrocarbon such as hexane, an alicyclic hydrocarbon such as cyclohexane and the like in the coexistence of an α,β-unsaturated carbonic acid C and the catalyst is recovered from the raffinate. |
